TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 Canada - Narita

You begin your adventure. Depart Vancouver or from your hometown with connection via Vancouver on Japan Airlines to Narita. En-route you will cross the International Dateline.

Day 2 Narita - Tokyo

Arrive Narita International Airport, transfer to hotel in Tokyo.

Day 3 Tokyo

This morning, visit the Tokyo Tower Observatory, then experience the tea ceremony at Happoen Garden. After barbecue-style lunch, visit the Imperial Palace Plaza before you take a Sumida River Cruise. Walk to the Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise Shopping Arcade in Ginza before return to hotel. (L)

Day 4 Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo

This morning, visit the Nikko Toshogu Shrine. After Japanese-style lunch, drive through the Irohazaka and enjoy the view of the Lake Chuzenji and Kegon Waterfall. Via Irohazaka zigzag driveway down the mountains and drive back to Tokyo. Tour disbands on arrival at Ginza or Shinjuku for shopping. (L)

Day 5 Tokyo - Kamakura - Tokyo

This morning, take a train to Hase Station with a connection at Kamakura Station. Visit the Hase Kannon Temple and Great Buddha. After Japanese Style lunch, walk to Hase Station and take a train to Kamakura Station and visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and Komachi Shopping Street. Return to Tokyo by Train. (L)

Day 6 Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone

Today, visit Fuji Visitor Center and Mt. Fuji 5th Station. After Japanese style lunch, proceed to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi and Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway. (L)

Day 7 Hakone - Nagoya - Toba

Transfer to Odawara Station and take a Shinkansen to Nagoya. After Buffet style lunch, visit the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology and Nagoya Castle. Continue your journey to Toba. (L)

Day 8 Toba - Ise - Kyoto

This morning, visit the Mikimoto Pearl Island. After Japanese-style lunch, continue your journey to Ise. You will visit the Ise Jingu Shrine before heading to Kyoto. (L)

Day 9 Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto

This morning, visit the Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion and Kyoto Imperial Palace. After Buffet Style lunch, continue your journey to Nara and visit the Todaiji Temple with Great Buddha, Nara Park and Kasuga Shrine. Return to Kyoto. (L)

Day 10 Kyoto

Free at leisure. In the evening, departure time from your hotel on the following day will be announced by van company. Departure time from your hotel to airport is around 4 hours before your flights.

Day 11 Kyoto (Itami Airport) - Narita - Canada

Free at leisure until departure. Transfer from hotel to Itami Airport.
